Medication Management

Residents taking regular medication can sign up for medication management services at FountainView. Residents in the medication management program have their medications renewed as needed and are notified when prescription refills are required. There are three levels of care in the program from which residents can choose. These are:

Medication Pours
An RN/LPN pre-pours and manages the resident's medications under the direction of the resident's physician.

Medication Reminders
In addition to medication pours, residents will receive reminders to take their medications at the appropriate times throughout the day.

Medication Supervision
Residents with this higher level of service will be supervised while taking their medication, along with receiving medication reminders.
